BEIJING, May 15 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Li Keqiang on Wednesday met with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Beijing.
Describing Armenia as China's important cooperation partner in the Eurasian region, Li said China is willing to continuously consolidate political mutual trust with Armenia and strengthen the synergy between the Belt and Road Initiative and Armenia's development strategy.
Li said China stands ready to expand import of high-quality agricultural products from Armenia, leverage complementarity of the two sides, and strengthen technological cooperation.
Pashinyan said Armenia is willing to uphold the ancient Silk Road spirit, actively take part in the joint building of the Belt and Road, and advance bilateral cooperation to continuously reinvigorate Armenia-China relations.
