BEIJING, April 25 (Xinhua) -- China's top political advisor Wang Yang on Thursday met with Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi, who is here to attend the Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation.

Wang, chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference National Committee, said the two countries' joint pursuit of the Belt and Road Initiative has been deepening in recent years, and China is willing to implement the consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries and enhance bilateral exchanges and cooperation in various areas.

Sisi said Egypt is willing to provide the strongest support for the Belt and Road, and deepen Egypt-China, Arab-China and Africa-China pragmatic cooperation in all areas.
